On The Street

One of my recent school assignments was a session on Street Photography. I debated on if I should show this one, because this was the first time I have had no reason to photograph something. Aka, Street Photography! I was terrified. Lets just leave it at that.

Unfortunately, this assignment I did not receive and evaluation, simply from a small lack of communication from my mentor. While I was assignment two different projects, he was under the impression that I was working on one, which was not the one I have about to reveal. I was disappointed and really felt that I worked hard for nothing. Even though I am new to this, I hope this was not for nothing.

Photojournalism is defined as telling a story thru pictures. The pictures below form a story of one side of a street vs. the other side that many people are unaware of. In the pictures below, there are some captions written on almost each picture to help you better understand what you are seeing. However, I will not describe or write the story. I prefer you read it and see it on your own.
