I cannot remember my 16th Birthday very well. I think my parents may have taken me out to eat at TGIFriday’s. Or was that for my 17th Birthday? They kinda all blend together. Maybe if I had a Sweet 16 Bash I would remember better, just like Ally had a week ago for her 16th Birthday. Not only does she have her memories, but she also has her memories stored in pictures for life.
Ally’s Sweet 16 was at her home, along with her family and friends. Like most 16 year olds, she got her very first car in a most surprising way. Her and her friends went swimming together, played on a man made slip-n-slide, took selfies, danced all night and had a DJ, while parents watched and fellowshipped with one another.
As usual, I did what I could to only be a “fly on the wall.” This was the first time I used two camera’s to photograph at once, only because I wanted to make it easier on exchanging lenses. I felt I needed a vest, for one camera was strapped on one shoulder while the other was around my neck. I decked pool water more times than I can count. Yes, this was a successful night.
Being I used two camera’s, the sum of pictures taken were huge! After culling and editing, the images that made the cut is still a large amount. It would take me hours to upload them all. And it was difficult to choose only a small handful to show you in one blog post. In celebration of Ally’s 16th Birthday, I chose 16 images to give you a small window into her Birthday Bash, which you can see for yourself below.
